Reduces
gasket adhesion to flanges |
Garlock's
Anti-Stick Spray is the cleaner, safer alternative
to traditional anti-seize compounds for use on
gaskets, nuts and bolts. Its broad chemical compatibility
and ability to withstand temperatures up to 1000°F
(538°C) make this Anti-Stick Spray ideal for
your industrial lubrication needs.
When
used with gaskets, Garlock's spray reduces gasket
adhesion to flanges, and it does not fill in the
radial grooves on flanges as other anti-seize
compounds do. Gasket removal is easier
you no longer have to waste time and risk damaging
equipment by scraping and grinding gaskets from
flanges. Full gasket removal ensures that the
integrity of the seal isn't compromised by installing
new gaskets over the remains of the old gaskets.
Using
traditional anti-seize compounds (grease embedded
with metallic particles) on gaskets can cause
serious problems. This type of anti-seize compound,
meant for nut and bolt assemblies, can chemically
attack some gaskets and can cause the gasket to
crush during installation. These compounds can
also fill up the flange serrations, causing them
to blow out prematurely. The specially designed
formula of Garlock's Anti-Stick Spray ensures
that your gaskets, as well as nuts and bolts,
provide high performance and release easily.
When
applied to nuts and bolts, this Anti-Stick Spray
achieves torque values almost identical to those
of grease-based thread lubricants. As with other
lubricating products, nut and bolt threads should
be free from greases and oils prior to application.
Available
in 20 oz. spray cans, Garlock's Anti-Stick Spray
is shipped in 12-unit cases. Average spray coverage
is 73.5 sq. ft. per can. For more information,
contact your Johnson Packings sales representative. |

Lead Time and Development Costs with Radyne
Seals |
| Have
your current seals been wearing out
before they should? Is excessive friction
slowing down your system?
Replace
your current seals with Radyne's PTFE-based
seals. JM Clipper's Redmond Plastics
Division manufactures the Radyne seals
and offers a material list containing
the lowest-wearing, most lubricious
compounds available. Seals from Radyne
are available in rotary shaft or spring-energized
models.
Extremely
short lead times allow your original
specifications to go from prototype
to final product in just days. Radyne
seals are machined, not molded, which
eliminates tooling charges and delays
typically associated with the mold-making
process. |

| ONE-UP®
Pump Diaphragms from Gore are Flexible,
Dependable and Affordable |
 |
|
Gore's
ONE-UP® pump diaphragm, with its single-piece
construction, will deliver significantly longer
service life when installed in air-operated diaphragm
pumps. Construction of patented PTFE bonded to
a reinforced rubber backing ensures improved strength
and flexibility that translate into significantly
longer service life.
ONE-UP's
one-piece design eliminates any chance of layer
separation. Liquids can't seep between layers
to destroy the integrity of the diaphragm, and
the chance of abrasion between layers is nonexistent.
This
single-unit design, consisting of proprietary
PTFE on the wetted side for a solid fluid barrier,
bonded to a reinforced rubber backing (of either
Neoprene, EPDM or Viton), means that the diaphragm
will not develop flex stress or deformation. Another
construction feature, the patented ribbed design,
evenly disperses stress to extend the life of
the diaphragm. In fact, controlled studies to
ASTM standards show that the ONE-UP's flex life
and impact strength are 10 times superior to standard
PTFE diaphragms, and its burst strength is 3 times
greater.
ONE-UP
pump diaphragms are suitable for use with any
chemical (0-14 pH) at temperatures from -20°F
to 350°F (-29°C to 176°C). Resistance
to acids, including caustic soaps and sanitizers,
means that cleanup is simple.
Ideal
for general service pumps that perform many different
functions, the ONE-UP pump diaphragm has been
field-tested in a wide variety of industries,
including food & beverage processing; pharmaceuticals;
paint, solvent & detergent manufacturing; and
wastewater treatment. These pump diaphragms comply
to FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 (PTFE) requirements for
food.
Whether
it incorporates bolt holes or a perimeter sealing
bead, the ONE-UP fits easily into the pump housing
without the difficulties that come with installing
two-piece diaphragm sets.
ONE-UP
pump diaphragms are available for air-operated
diaphragm pumps from Almatec, ARO, DEPA, Biagdon,
Flotronics, Graco, Verder, Versamatic, Warren
Rupp, Wilden and Yamada. Contact Johnson Packings
to see how you can incorporate ONE-UP pump diaphragms
into your system today. |
