GORE-TEX®
Joint Sealant
This
original form-in-place gasketing material can
be used practically everywhere. It is easy to
install, even on vertical surfaces, and is ideal
for large, complex or damaged flanges. Since there
is no waste, this joint sealant usually costs
less, on a per-gasket basis, than any other gasketing
alternative. This material is fabricated from
expanded PTFE, with a highly fibrillated structure
that, upon compression, forms a solid homogeneous
mass that is impervious to gases and liquids.

Series 300/600 Gasket Tape
Series
300 gasket tape helps to achieve greater sealing
efficiencies with large steel piping and equipment.
Unlike sheet gasketing, it can be quickly formed
in place, installs easily and reduces expensive
material scrap. Conformable and highly compressible,
this tape forms a very tight seal. Strong multi-directionally
expanded PTFE fibers give excellent creep resistance
for a long lasting seal that withstands virtually
any chemical process. It is an ideal choice when
sealing large diameter flanges.
Series
600 gasket tape is intended for glass-lined equipment
and guards against premature gasket failure. Unlike
PTFE envelope gaskets, it will not degrade due
to chemical attack and will ensure a tight and
long-lasting seal. The entire gasket is chemically
inert, so the user will not experience the sealing
problems associated with aggressive media or outside
environment. It conforms to the imperfections
common in glass-lined flange surfaces, while maintaining
dimensional stability for superior sealing reliability.

TriGuard™
Gasketing
TriGuard™
gaskets are used to seal fragile pipe flanges
with low bolt load. Unlike other gaskets, they
seal tight and stay tight, even with varying flange
conditions. Designed for low stress-to-seal flanges,
these gaskets are unaffected by most aggressive
chemicals and are ideal for contamination services
and highly permeable fluids, including chlorine
and monomer service.
